New year... New ME..... New Blog

SO, it has been forever and a day since my last post. Many changes have happened in my life. I have had and quit the job from He**. I have also moved back home with the parentals. My life is about to have one more BIG change.

I have always been a BIG girl ,but that is all about to change. This new year I will make a resoluation and keep it. I am going to be challenging my mom to a biggest loser contest. My goal is 50 LBs. I am excited and nervous about this new journey. I will continue to blog about my successes and failures along my way. I will include a starting picture in a upcoming blog. Wish me luck and pray for success! : )

New Diet.....

This week was my first real week as a teacher and I have learned one thing.... Kids always tell the truth. Due to this newly rediscovered fact, I am now on a diet!! This week, I was told I look like a giant bumble bee when I wore a yellow and white cardigan. But that is not what set the diet into action. It is actually a comment from my sweetest student. I am talking about one of those students that never say anything, always participates in lessons, and is just a sweetheart! Well, this is how the comment that change my diet came about. I had just finished giving directions to my students and was walking around helping individual students. The girl next to my perfect student(mentioned above) raised her hand for help. I went to her side and was bending over to help her without really realizing how close I was to "perfect student." "Perfect student" then proceeded to say,"That is just too juicy!" referring to my butt..... I turned around and asked him what he said and he just stared at me in shock. He did not know I could hear him and I am not even sure if he knew he had said it out loud. Well, it was so funny I couldn't help but laugh. He looked like a deer in headlights because he was so afraid he was in trouble. Now, I am on a diet. Why you might ask? Because it is true.... my butt is too JUICY!

New Teacher....

Long time, no blog.... Well, I have successfully finished my first session of teaching summer school. I think I had some of the cutest kinder kids ever! So, now that summer session is over my life is consumed with new teacher training. I am spending my last few days of summer in training. I am excited to be a new teacher ,but I am going on training overload. Only 5 more days of professional development before school starts.

Now the fun begins.... Today, I saw my new classroom for the very first time. I was shocked by four things when I walked into my room.
1. It has a bright purple wall.
2. It is super big and tall! (exciting except I can't reach the tops of the bulletin boards)
3. 3 Brand new awesome Mac Computers in my room!!!
4. Everything, I mean everything under the moon was just piled up in the middle of the room.

So, I have lots to do with a little bit of time to do it in. With the help of some friends, I hope to be able to post some finished pictures soon. (Thanks Bradley and Jana!)
